Industrial Sewing Straight Stitch Machine 101 - Friday, May 3rd - Sold Out!
Learn how to sew on an industrial straight stitch sewing machine in this day long intensive. You will learn how to thread the machine, how to troubleshoot common issues, how to adjust the tension and setting for different fabrics, how to use different attachments and feet to accomplish multiple stitches and functions and how to perform basic maintenance on the machine. If you have never used an industrial machine before, this is the workshop for you! Class size is limited to 5 participants to allow everyone to have their own machine to practice on all day long and you will have plenty of hands-on time while we make our own tote bags to practice the skills we have learned during the class.
This workshop is from 9am-3:30pm and lunch will be provided.

Industrial Sewing Serger Machine 101 - Friday, May 10th - Sold Out!
Learn how to sew on an industrial serger machine in this day long intensive. You will learn how to thread the machine, how to troubleshoot common issues, how to adjust the tension and setting for different fabrics, how to sew on both knits and wovens and and how to perform basic maintenance on the machine. We will also use an industrial coverstitch machine to hem our T-Shirts. If you have never used an industrial serger before, this is the workshop for you! Class size is limited to 4 participants to allow everyone to have their own machine to practice on all day long and you will have plenty of hands-on time while we make our own T-Shirts to practice the skills we have learned during the class.
